Robert Strickland

Bob Strickland is a bassist, composer, singer, multi instrumentalist,
and poet. Recently relocated to the Denver area, he has lived and
performed primarily in the eastern United States with projects spanning a
number of genres, including jazz, folk-rock, rock, fusion, blues,
bluegrass and roots Americana. In Florida, just before coming to
Denver, he was the bassist and a founding member of the successful Latin
jazz and exotica quintet "Stolen Idols", led his own jazz quartet
called "The Gulf-To-Bay Jazz Project", and played in the folk-rock band
"Strip Mall Drifters". He is interested in the intersection of
poetry, music, photography, painting and other art forms.
